Jack Stammers and Will Davison met and became friends while training at Thom Sweeney in Mayfair where, between them, the pair chalked up over 22 years of experience in tailoring. While learning the trade and honing their individual skill sets, the duo noticed a lack of appropriate sartorial solutions in the City of London, an area full of style-conscious professionals. Jack Davison Bespoke was born out of a shared ambition to bring the flair of Mayfair to the City and has been dressing stylish suit-seekers ever since, from financiers to creatives to the fashion elite, and is now in its fourth year of business. With the pair’s combined knowledge, expertise and passion, Jack and Will offer something a little different to the stalwarts of Savile Row, using all the age-old techniques and skills learned from the artisan tailors before them, yet bringing a contemporary edge and new life to the cut.
House Cut
At Jack Davison we offer the finest bespoke and made to measure tailoring delivered in a relaxed manner in our welcoming atelier. Our classic yet contemporary house cut combines modern styling with age old methods and highly skilled techniques, refined on Savile Row and in Naples over hundreds of years. We use the traditional full floating canvassed body to give structure, shape and durability yet with a much softer, less military shoulder line, a higher armhole and an elegantly suppressed waist. This modern take on a heritage style bespoke suit is complimented by using the world’s finest fabrics in an array of colours, textures, weaves and patterns.
